About Renova
Renova makes CBD products whose quality you can check yourself: EU hemp, production in the Netherlands, 0.0% THC and an external test report for every batch. This is who we are and how we work.
Who is Renova?
Renova is a Dutch CBD brand based at Laan ten Roode 2 in Someren, the Netherlands. The company behind the brand is 1337 Media B.V., registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 72266589, VAT number NL859052540B01. The product labels name Vitaa B.V. as the producer, at the same address.
The products are sold in the Netherlands and internationally, currently through retailers and later also through a shop of our own.
To be clear: this Renova is the Dutch CBD brand. It has no connection with brands of the same name in other sectors, such as paper products or skin medication.
What does Renova make?
Four product forms: CBD oil in four strengths, capsules, patches and a massage oil. Full spectrum, with the THC taken out until the lab detects none. Batches are tested externally; the batch finder shows which of those reports have already been published. The whole range is on the products page.
Why THC-free?
Renova chooses products without THC: accessible for anyone who doesn't want a psychoactive substance, and easier to account for to retailers and regulators. More brands now offer THC-free products; what sets Renova apart is that you can check that claim, batch by batch, in the quality system.
Where are the products made?
The hemp comes from certified fields within the EU and production takes place in the Netherlands. The labels name Vitaa B.V. in Someren as the producer. We'll set out here exactly how the work is divided between the brand and the producer once that is documented; we would rather not give the impression of a factory of our own as long as that isn't down in black and white.
How does the quality system work?
Every batch gets a number and goes to an external laboratory; only after approval does it leave the building. We publish the reports openly. We don't hide that this is not complete yet: the batch finder shows for each product what is there and what is still to come. The system itself is described step by step under quality.
Who writes and checks this site?
How this site handles sources, claims and checks is set out in our editorial policy. An expert section with names and qualifications will only follow if real experts become involved with the brand; until then, we would rather have no section than a vague one.
