A site about CBD touches on health, and so it deserves the same verifiability as the products themselves. This is the working process behind every page.
Claims: only from the register
Every factual statement about products, production or the brand is in an internal claims register, with the supporting document and the status per country for each claim. If a claim is not in the register, it doesn't belong on the site. Medical claims are prohibited for food products and so appear nowhere, not in reviews or examples either.
Figures: from one database, with a visible status
Product specifications come from one product database and are never retyped by hand anywhere. Values that have not yet been verified against the label or batch report carry a visible "to be verified" marker on the site instead of an assumption. The test results themselves are in the public batch reports.
Sources: with a level and an expiry date
Informational pages rely on sources from bodies such as EFSA, the NVWA, the CBG and the Trimbos Institute. Internally, each source is given an evidence level and an expiry date; outdated sources are replaced, not quietly kept.
Images: honest about where they come from
Product photos show the real product. Mood and process images may be digitally generated; images that serve as evidence, such as the annotated example report, are always based on real documents. There are no generated faces on the site posing as staff or experts.
Review: fixed moments, and who does it
Every page carries a review date, a review frequency and a note of who checked it. That is done internally, by the people behind the brand. No doctor, pharmacist or lawyer is involved, and so nowhere on this site will you read that a page has been medically or legally reviewed.
That puts the bar somewhere else. On any subject where health or legislation comes into play, nothing is said in our own voice. Everything claimed about it can be traced to a body we name, with a source that points to the specific document and not to a homepage. If we can't tie a statement to a source like that, we leave it out.
The English pages are translations of the Dutch originals and add no claims of their own.

See something that isn't right, from a typo to a claim that seems too firm? Report it through the contact page. We make corrections at the source (register or database), so the mistake doesn't come back somewhere else.
