The highest quality is a promise. A batch report is a document you can open. On these pages we turn quality into a list of properties you can check one by one, from where the hemp comes from to what the laboratory found in your batch.
What quality means here
Six things, to be precise: where the raw material comes from, how it is extracted, what is in each product, what the THC measurement says and at which detection limit, which tests were done, and whether you can link all of that to a batch number. Each of those six has its own page, and each page tells you where to check it yourself.
Where do the raw materials come from?
The hemp grows on certified fields within the EU and is processed in the Netherlands. The route from plant to bottle is described step by step in the production process.
How does the extraction work?
Renova uses supercritical CO₂ extraction: a method without harsh solvents that keeps the broad spectrum of plant compounds. The technique is explained on the page about CO₂ extraction.
What does 0.0% THC mean exactly?
Renova brings the THC content down to 0.0% for every batch. How that claim relates to the laboratory's detection limit and to wordings like "not detected" is explained on the page about THC-free.
Which carrier oils are used?
Olive oil for all CBD oils, and olive oil, MCT or hemp seed oil for the capsules. The factual differences are on the page about carrier oils.
How does batch testing work?
Every batch gets a number and goes to an external laboratory. Publishing those reports is another story: we are behind on that, and the batch finder shows how far along we are for each product. Once you have a report in front of you, the reading guide takes you through the eight parts that matter.
